What the shop does
Raw stock to finished part, without an outside vendor
Milling, turning, grinding, EDM, welding, and assembly all happen under one roof, so a multi-step part never bounces between suppliers or picks up a delay in transit.

CNC Milling
Four CNC machining centres plus a manual mill for complex geometry, from single prototypes through low-volume production runs.
Milling capability
CNC Turning
Three CNC lathes and a manual lathe for shafts, pins, bushings, and threaded fittings up to a 12″ chuck.
Turning capability
Grinding
CNC cylindrical OD grinding and Thompson surface grinding for parts that need a tighter finish than a cutter will give.
Grinding capability
EDM
Die sinker EDM for sharp internal corners, deep cavities, and features a rotating cutter cannot reach.
EDM capability
Welding & Fabrication
Lincoln Electric Precision TIG 275 welding and light fabrication, backed by a Marvel Series 8 saw for stock prep.
Machine list
Assembly & Reverse Engineering
Mechanical assembly of finished components, and geometry recreated from a worn sample when the original drawing is long gone.

Work envelopes, stated up front
If your part fits these numbers, it can run here. If it is close, send it anyway — larger envelopes get handled case by case and the shop confirms fit before quoting.

Who the parts go to
Three markets, one inspection standard
Every market works with the same small team and the same discipline, from first quote to final shipment.

Medical
Six years of focused medical work. Documented inspection and traceable materials on parts that cannot fail, with paperwork that drops straight into a quality file.

Automotive
Repeatable production and on-time delivery across every run. Pins, spacers, and fittings that hold the same dimensions on piece one thousand as on piece one.

Test & Measurement
Close-tolerance probe bodies, adapters, and fixture hardware, often reverse-engineered from a worn original, plus prototype automation projects.
Why customers stay
Work came back from overseas, and stayed
One customer moved a job back from an overseas supplier after quality and delivery problems. Union Enterprises matched the overseas price, met the quality requirement, and delivered on time.
Repeat business runs between 80 and 90 percent, earned through on-time delivery and fast quotes rather than sales pressure. Customers reach the people machining their parts, and thousands of completed purchase orders stand behind the work.
- Quotes returned in one to two business days
- First article inspection before a full run is released
- Critical dimensions verified on a fully automatic three-axis OGP SmartScope
- Material traceability on regulated work
- Design-for-manufacturing review with your engineers before the first chip is cut
- Reverse engineering when the drawing no longer exists
